Worship - by Elizabeth Reynolds
I've been reading a devotion book called "Praise in the presence of God" and the other day I came across a page with this scripture:
My soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. --Isaiah 61:10
This is what the devotional said:
Worship is for God. It is birthed by His gift of life to us and His great love for us. Worship is DUE Him and entirely for Him. Sing happily, rejoice openly, cry humbly, shout triumphantly, praise unreservedly. Let us come before His throne with a full sense of our happy privilege to be invited. In God's order, worship brings our total being aglow in the life the Holy Spirit imparts, enabling us to offer spiritual sacrifices.
